Buttock Lift
Redefine Your Butt’s Look
If your butt lacks definition, a butt lift can help give you that much needed perk you’re looking for.
Also called a belt lipectomy, the butt lift removes excess skin that’s the result of extreme weight loss, aging or the if you just have wrinkled, dimpled or flabby thighs.
During your consulation with Dr. Rifai, he’ll work with you to figure out how much skin and fat needs to be removed in order to achieve the look you desire.
Procedure Overview: Buttock Lift
1. At our outpatient surgical facility, you’ll first be put under IV sedation.
2. The incision is made at the waist or slightly below.
3. Excess skin and fat is detached from the soft tissue and is removed.
4. The skin is then tightened and closed in layers.
Recovery Time: Buttock Lift
After surgery, you may experience temporary bruising, swelling and restricted mobility. To help aid in recovery, you’ll have to wear a compression garment for about three weeks. You may also experience mild to moderate pain, but Dr. Rifai can prescribe medication to help alleviate that.
Strenuous activities need to be avoided for six weeks, with full recovery taking four to six months.
