Lateral Brow Lift- Overview
A lateral brow lift takes approximately 1 ½ hour to perform. Dr. Rifai will make an incision behind the forehead line above both eyebrows. The muscles controlling the outer area of the eyebrow is released and re-positioned into a more naturally appealing position.
Lateral Brow Lift- Recovery
Recovery from a lateral brow lift takes approximately 1 week. There is typically very little discomfort following this procedure. You may experience some swelling and bruising, however this will likely be minimal and is easily controlled by cold compresses. A week after your procedure, any sutures will be removed.

Q: Will I bruise and swell?
Answer: Yes, bruising and swelling will occur in varying degrees. Cool compresses can be used to help control it.
Q: Will I have a “surprised” look after the procedure?
Answer: No, this will not happen. Your results will be dramatic, but subtle at the same time. A minimal amount of skin is removed to give the desired result.
