Make Your Crow’s Feet Fly Away
Some wrinkles, such as crow’s feet, are the result of aging. However, others are because of facial movements like frowning or squinting. Whatever the cause, you can fill in those lines with a Dysport® injection.
When it comes to filling in wrinkles, there are a number of different options available. So when you come in for you consultation at the Birmingham Cosmetic Surgery & Vein Center, an associate will work closely with you to determine what your specific needs are.
Procedure Overview: Dysport

Dysport only takes a few minutes to perform, requires zero downtime and you’ll see immediate results. In some cases, patients may experience problems, speaking, swallowing or breathing hours to weeks after an injection. If this happens, you’re advised to call the Birmingham Cosmetic Surgery & Vein Center immediately.
Frequently Asked Dysport Questions
Q: How long will the effect last?
Answer: Dysport works for typically 3 months; some patients see results for up to 4 months.
Q: Is there a standard dose that works for everyone?
Answer: No, this is a misconception. Each patient should be assessed individually and the minimum dose that would provide a result is administered. Using too large of a dose will result in complications. A touch up procedure may be necessary after a week or two if the patient still has movement in the treated area.
Q: What are the most common complications, if any?
Answer: The most common reported complications are “dropping” of the eyebrow or upper eyelids. This is usually the result of too large of a dose or a misplaced injection. These complications usually resolve themselves with time.
